Water mist systems are designed for areas where high volumes of water are not desirable. They disperse less water than sprinklers, creating a fine mist consisting of smaller water droplets.

Why you might need a water mist system



A water mist system provides fire protection in areas that are more susceptible to water damage due to their function or contents.



We would use these systems for environments and areas that hold mission-critical systems, manufacturing machinery, engine test cells, industrial deep fat fryers, data rooms and many other applications.



The key to success is to ensure the environment has been properly tested and validated for a water mist system by third party accreditation (e.g. LPCB/FM).

What we do

We design, install, and maintain everything that makes up a water mist system. However simple or complex the system you need, we have technical experts for all elements.

Depending on why water mist is required, we work to a variety of standards including British Standards BS 8458 and BS 8489 and FM global standards NFPA 750 & EN 14972-1.

We can only provide water mist solutions that have been tested and accredited for the environment needing to be protected.

Design

Water mist systems are defined as ‘project specific’, which means any particular hazard or environment requires its own specific design. Our designers are fully experienced in designing complex systems to comply with British and global standards and can produce 2D or 3D models in line with BIM requirements.

Install

When it comes to delivery we aim to go beyond your expectations. We have a rigorous delivery process and an installation team with wide experience of delivering water mist systems in both new construction and live operational environments. They’re always prepared and able to adapt to any challenge put before them.

Maintain

We take responsibility for your water mist system throughout its life, from installation onwards.

Our service team consists of 100+ experienced engineers nationwide who will carry out routine maintenance and remedial repairs, ensuring your people operate in a safe and sustainable environment.
