Sprinkler Systems
Complete systems to protect what matters most. The great advantage of a sprinkler system is that it not only detects a fire but suppresses it until the fire brigade arrive.
Why do you need sprinklers?
Sprinklers may be required for several reasons:
By law. Some buildings, depending on their height, size or function, legally require a sprinkler system to satisfy building regulations, Approved Document B and must comply with the British Standard (BS EN 12845). This is for life safety purposes.
To satisfy your insurer. Sprinklers give your business greater levels of protection and minimises business disruption should a fire occur.
As a compensatory measure when a building is fire engineered to BS9999. Even if a building’s height, size or function doesn’t require a sprinkler system to satisfy building regulations, if the building has been fire engineered to BS9999, sprinklers could be deployed as a compensatory feature.
Design
We are LPS 1048 Level 4 Loss Prevention Council (LPC) accredited, which means we’re approved to design and certify our own work.
Our designers have wide experience of designing complex sprinkler systems that comply with British Standards (BSEN12845), LPC Rules, FM and NFPA, and will produce 3D models in line with Revit or BIM project requirements.
Install
We’re passionate about delivery, which is why our delivery process is rigorous, tried and tested.
Our installation team are skilled at delivering complex sprinkler systems for both new construction and live operational environments, across all sectors. Sectors
“The engineers were a credit to Hall & Kay. It was a difficult and congested ceiling void which made the task of installing the new sprinklers challenging but the engineers stuck to the task and got the job done! The project manager was proactive and helpful. Given the difficulty of this installation this was the best sprinkler installation team I have ever worked with.”
