The safety of your residents is more important than anything – which means it’s essential they are fully protected from the risks of fire and intrusion.

All residential buildings in England over 11m tall, and all new residential buildings from single dwelling upwards in Wales, are now required by law to have a sprinkler system fitted, as detailed in the building regulations and Approved Document B.

We have many years of experience providing fire protection for the residential sector. With a thorough technical knowledge of the new standards for residential sprinkler systems (BS9251:2021), we understand the right products to install, such as CPVC thermoplastic pipework, and how to ensure they are compatible with other fireproofing methods such as fire stopping.

We also understand that residential buildings have particular challenges. It’s often important to fast-track fit-outs for new buildings, while retrofitting into existing buildings can present complexities that need to be carefully managed.

We are very comfortable managing these challenges, as well as with installing the complex commercial systems suitable for areas such as car parks and high-rise buildings. In short, we not only grasp the technical challenges but also the pressures and constraints you may be under.

That’s why we have a rigorous, tried and tested delivery process. We’re a Level 4 LPS1048 accredited organisation, approved to self-certify both commercial and residential sprinkler systems.
